Whether they have a Christian background or not, each year men and women find themselves drawn to explore the Catholic faith. If you feel drawn to Catholic Christianity the first thing to do is to come to church and introduce yourself to Fr Tony (you can find our Mass times at the bottom of the Home page). Coming to Mass on Sunday is the most important preparation for coming into the Catholic Church- it is here that you meet the Lord in Word and Sacrament and you meet community, the people of the parish.
The RCIA Course
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (the RCIA) is the course we run to help enquirers explore various aspects of the Catholic Faith from prayer and worship to what the Church believes about Jesus, the Eucharist and Mary. We course normally runs from September/ October and looks to conclude at Easter with baptisms, receptions and confirmations at Easter on Holy Saturday. We meet in the presbytery (priest’s house) on Wednesday evenings after the 7pm Mass.
