We have three Prayer Groups that meet regularly

The Bethany Prayer Group

The Bethany Prayer Group is a charismatic prayer group that meets on Tuesday evenings (7:30– 9:30pm) in the Parish Centre (and also via Zoom). Prayer meetings begin with a time of sharing news and how God has been present in our lives during the past week. This is followed by prayer of intercession in which we pray in tongues. This is followed by a time of praise and worship and then a period of silent prayer. We then share "Words or Pictures" that we have received during prayer.

Divine Mercy Prayer Group

The Divine Mercy Prayer Group meets in No. 10 (opposite the main door of the church) on Friday afternoons 2:45-3:45pm. Please note: there will be no meetings in August.

A PLACE FOR PRAYER

This is an informal prayer group which meets in the front room of Number 10. 6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.

We meet on the last Thursday of each month from September to June,and hold a  weekly session during Advent and Lent.

We explore different ways of praying including Lectio Divina, Labyrinth prayers and Gazing prayers.

Scripture, reflections and music, interspersed with silence and stillness,  help us to pray for our own needs, 

and the needs our families, our parishes and the wider world.
